Job summary

Autism Services in Regina seeks a Room Attendant / Laundry Attendant to maintain clean, welcoming guest spaces and support laundry operations. You will clean rooms, change linens, restock amenities, vacuum, dust, and sanitize bathrooms while following safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and good communication with guests and team members are essential. Prior hotel housekeeping experience is preferred; knowledge of cleaning products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and products is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they are tidy, organized, and inviting for guests

• Empty trash and replace garbage bags
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

• Clean used linen by operate the machines as per training and to standard
• Fold and prepare clean linen for pick up and delivery
• Insure cleanliness and order of laundry room is maintained while on duty
• Monitor cleaning supplies and alert management as required
