About the Role – Room Attendant

At Park Hyatt Toronto, our Room Attendants are key to creating a luxurious, thoughtful, and seamless guest experience. Guided by Forbes 5-Star standards, they provide meticulous service, attention to detail, and warm, intuitive hospitality that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean all assigned guestrooms to the highest standards, with attention to detail and efficiency
• Provide warm, discreet, and anticipatory service reflecting Forbes 5-Star hospitality
• Respect guests’ privacy and handle belongings with care and professionalism
• Greet and bid farewell to guests and colleagues warmly and genuinely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures for stayover and departure rooms, including:
• Dusting and vacuuming
• Bed making and linen replacement
• Sanitizing bathrooms and high-touch areas
• Replenishing guestroom supplies
• Cleaning windows and furniture
• Record and update room status accurately and promptly
• Report maintenance concerns promptly
• Support the Housekeeping team by communicating guest requests or special needs
• Participate in deep cleaning projects periodically
• Properly handle and tag lost and found items
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as required, maintaining luxury service standards

Qualifications

• A warm, caring personality with a service-oriented mindset
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to deliver polished, discreet, and professional service in every interaction
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Calm, courteous, and composed under pressure
• Physical ability to meet role demands, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Your Team and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Constant walking and standing
• Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling
• Occasional stair climbing, pushing, and pulling
