Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a cleaning associate to join our facility maintenance team in Canada. The role involves dusting furniture, cleaning mirrors and windows, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms to meet brand standards.

You will ensure proper room setup, report any damages, and manage lost and found items by the end of your shift. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and collaborate with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Dust all furniture and surfaces.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors and windows.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms and restrooms.
• Adhere to brand standard cleaning requirements.
• Ensure rooms meet standard setup and report damages promptly.
• Manage lost and found items by shift end.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Mon to Fri- 8am-4:30pm, 11am-7:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm Sat & Sun - 9am-5:30pm, 11am-7:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cultivate a culture that promotes inclusion, innovation, productivity, and collaboration.
• Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
• Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
• Remove fingerprints and smudges (i.e. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc.)
• Thoroughly clean the bathroom area—wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
• Adhere to brand standard cleaning requirements.
• Ensure compliance with standard room set-up.
• Report all damage found in a room immediately.
• Ensuring all “lost and found” items are turned and documented by the end of your shift
• Other duties as assigned.
