Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking room attendants to clean and maintain hotel rooms in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Attendants must provide professional service and be meticulous in their work.

Schedule is Full Time, Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. If you are a dynamic individual with attention to detail, this position is for you!

Qualifications

• Some heavy lifting required.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Use of cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen daily.
• Vacuum carpeting.
• Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
• Remove fingerprints and smudges (i.e. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc.)
• Thoroughly clean the bathroom area—wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
• Adhere to brand standard cleaning requirements.
• Ensure compliance with standard room set-up.
• Report all damage found in a room immediately.
• Report all missing items in a room and any personal guest items found in vacant rooms immediately.
• Ensuring all “lost and found” items are turned in immediately.
• Shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving room.
• Assist with any additional cleaning chores that may be assigned.

The Role:
