Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport is seeking a detail-oriented Room Attendant for full-time weekend and holiday shifts. You will clean and service rooms to brand standards, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs while delivering friendly, hospitable service to guests.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Some housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Friendly and hospitality focused mindset is essential.
• Attention to detail is important in cleaning and service.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills are needed to maintain rooms and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms per standards including beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Notify supervisor when service is complete and report unserviceable rooms.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor supplies and minimize waste across housekeeping areas.
• Keep linen cart and supplies organized per department standards.
• Ensure security of equipment, keys, and daily supplies.
• Log lost and found items as per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and coordination with other departments daily.
• Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects as needed.
• May perform turndown duties and other duties per brand standards.
• Follow all company and brand standards in daily tasks.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Toronto Airport is looking for someone with housekeeping experience in the Hospitality industry, friendly & focused to join our team as Room Attendant! Who is flexible and available for Full-time positions.

What will you be doing?

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. This may include cleaning of the kitchen area, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc.
• Notify the supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied. Report any room unable to be serviced to the supervisor according to established procedures.
• Report to the supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints, and special requests to ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control supplies/amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
• Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
• Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day.
• Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May have turndown duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned. In carrying out your duties you will follow all Company and Brand Standards.
