Job summary

Coastal Inn Digby in Nova Scotia seeks a friendly and reliable Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms and public areas. No previous experience required; we provide training and a supportive team environment.

On-site, full-time hours with a focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, and courteous guest service. You’ll be part of a hands-on team dedicated to delivering comfortable stays for guests at our coastal property.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; training provided on the job.
• Hotel housekeeping experience not required.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
