Job summary

The Prince George Hotel in Halifax is seeking a reliable Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will maintain guestrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring a welcoming experience for guests.

You should enjoy staying active during shifts, be detail-oriented, and work well both independently and with a team. Previous housekeeping is an asset but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guestrooms according to hotel standards.

• Remove garbage and recycling from guestrooms and dispose of properly.
• Vacuum carpets and complete all daily general cleaning duties.
• Maintain housekeeping cart supplies and report shortages.
• Identify, record, and submit all lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards observed during your shift.
• Update room status accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide courteous and professional guest service when interacting with guests.
• Work cooperatively with team members using a team-focused approach.
• Follow all emergency response and safety procedures.

The Prince George Hotel is seeking a reliable and motivated Room Attendantto join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining guestrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

What You'll Be Doing:
