Job summary

The Prince George Hotel in Halifax is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly and guest-ready at all times.

You will perform general maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, conduct preventive upkeep, respond to requests, and contribute to renovations while maintaining safety and high standards.

Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts, plus opportunities for training and career growth within InnVest Hotels.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or building maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems and carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts if required.

Responsibilities
