Job summary

Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre in Canmore, Alberta is seeking a Full-time Room Attendant to keep guest rooms and spaces pristine. You will clean, refresh amenities, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety to enhance guest experiences.

From making beds to vacuuming and restocking supplies, you will support the housekeeping team and contribute to a smooth operation in a busy 164-room hotel and conference centre. On-site parking and staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Refresh guest amenities, make beds, dust, vacuum, mop floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls and windows, deliver guest requests, and manage linen/glassware.
• Complete 14 rooms per shift.
• Support and assist housekeeping team in tasks and scheduling.
• Report maintenance problems in public areas promptly.
• Ensure lost & found items are returned to housekeeping.
• Support our hotel’s recycling program and safety procedures.
• Be familiar with facilities, chemicals and equipment; participate in ongoing training.
• Understand health and safety, WHMIS, SDS and PPE; maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with hotel security procedures.

Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre is located in central Canmore.

We are seeking a Full-time Room Attendant.

We don't have an approved LMIA for this position. The position is available for applicants with a valid work status in Canada & We can support Francophone Mobility program

We are a busy 164-room hotel and conference centre located in Canmore, Alberta.

Objective:

• To be responsible for keeping hotelroomsand other guest spaces clean, sanitary, and attractive to ensure that guests enjoy their stay
• To provide ultimate cleanliness to guest rooms and follow all health and safety guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry
• Complete 14 room per shift
• Support and assist housekeeping team in tasks, duties and scheduling required to maintain successful operational departments
• Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers
• Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office
• Support and participate our hotel’s recycling program
• Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment
• Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties
• Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE
• Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff
• Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper procedures
