Job summary

Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre in Canmore, Alberta, is seeking a Full-time Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms and public areas, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety guidelines, with opportunities to contribute to a busy hotel environment and support the housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Refresh guest amenities, make beds, dust, vacuum, mop floors, clean windows and walls, deliver and collect linen and glassware, and manage waste.
• Complete 14 rooms per shift.
• Support and assist housekeeping with tasks and scheduling as needed.
• Report maintenance issues in public areas promptly.
• Ensure lost and found items are returned to the housekeeping office.
• Participate in recycling and sustainability programs.
• Familiarity with housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre is located in central Canmore.

We are seeking a Full-time Room Attendant.

We don't have an approved LMIA for this position. The position is available for applicants with a valid work status in Canada & We can support Francophone Mobility program

We are a busy 164-room hotel and conference centre located in Canmore, Alberta.

Objective:

• To be responsible for keeping hotelroomsand other guest spaces clean, sanitary, and attractive to ensure that guests enjoy their stay
• To provide ultimate cleanliness to guest rooms and follow all health and safety guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry
• Complete 14 room per shift
• Support and assist housekeeping team in tasks, duties and scheduling required to maintain successful operational departments
• Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers
• Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office
• Support and participate our hotel’s recycling program
• Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment
• Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties
• Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE
• Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff
• Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper procedures
