Job summary

Lindsay Construction is seeking a Roofing Superintendent to manage roofing projects across Nova Scotia. You will report to the Manager, Roofing and Cladding and coordinate with Project Managers, Coordinators, and the team to achieve project objectives.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial roofing experience, can lead a crew, and work at heights while prioritizing quality and safety. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ commercial roofing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Carlisle Roofing System is an asset.
• Coordinate on-site operations and lead a crew.
• Ability to work at heights and ensure safety compliance.
• Familiar with industrial, institutional and commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew members to ensure quality and productivity.
• Oversee single-ply roofing installations (EPDM/TPO).
• Plan ahead to organize work and procure materials.
• Maintain a detailed daily log of site activities with photos.
• Meet with personnel to ensure information flow, due dates and costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and housekeeping rules.
