Qualifications

• This role requires 3–5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and a valid G driver’s license.
• Valid Working at Heights certification and background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate roofing crews and manpower.
• Monitor and track labour hours; communicate with stakeholders daily.
• Review project drawings, specs, and attend site meetings.
• Visit sites, resolve challenges, ensure safety and documentation.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and site logistics; mentor crews.

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to join our Mississauga Branch and support commercial roofing projects across the GTA.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing field operations, supporting crews, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Flynn standards. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial roofing experience and be able to hit the ground running.

A Day in the Life

• Scheduling and coordinating roofing crews and manpower
• Monitor, approve, and track labour hours
• Communicate daily with crews, management, general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Attend project meetings, including handoff, pre-start, and site meetings
• Conduct site visits and resolve job site challenges
• Ensure all safety requirements, field reports, and site documentation are completed and up to date
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and site logistics
• Managing productivity, project execution, and contractual performance
• Coach and mentor field crews

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid G driver's license
• Valid Working at Heights certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
