Job summary

Kibbi in Canada seeks an experienced roofing installer to join our crew. The role requires climbing and working at heights, reading blueprints and applying asphalt shingles, tiles, and sheet metal flashings on sloped roofs.

You will repair or replace roofing systems, work at various locations, with on-site-only duties in West Vancouver, and bring 1 year to 2 years of experience. This hands-on position demands physical stamina and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school graduation certificate required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of roofing experience.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors.

• Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
