Job summary

NORTHERNBC CONSTRUCTIONS LTD. seeks experienced roofing personnel for on-site work in Canada. Expect installation of built-up roofing systems, shingles, tiles, and repairs on sloped roofs with hand and power tools.

A College diploma or certificate and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred, with full-time hours and on-site duties. Wage is 30.00 hourly, 35–40 hours per week, with on-site work only. Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and adhere to safety

Qualifications

• College diploma or certificate in a related field.
• 1–2 years of roofing experience.

Responsibilities

• Install built-up roofing systems with asphalt felts and hot asphalt.
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles/shakes and tiles on sloped roofs.
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs.
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs.
• Repair roofing systems.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces.
• Install and repair metal roofs with hand and power tools.
