Job summary

Kibbi is seeking an experienced roof installer to work on various roofing projects across multiple locations in Canada. The role involves installing and replacing shingles, tiles, and single-ply systems on sloped roofs, along with metal roof work and scaffolding setup.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, strong English communication, and is physically capable of demanding work at heights and outdoors. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Education as noted: secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or related trades.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions.
• Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
• Repair roofing systems.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Install sheet metal flashings.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
