Job summary

Trent Roofing and Cladding Ltd is seeking experienced roofers for various on-site projects in Canada. The role involves installing and repairing built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, tiles and single-ply roofing, with reading blueprints and working at heights.

Candidates should have 2+ years of roofing experience, basic education, and the ability to work outdoors at various locations. This position is on-site with physically demanding tasks and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of roofing experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand/power tools.
• Ability to work on heights and in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes on sloped roofs.
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
• Repair roofing systems.
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces.
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
• Install sheet metal flashings.

• Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
• Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
• Repair roofing systems
• Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
• Install sheet metal flashings
