Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating rollers or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience with asphalt compaction and maintaining proper surface density.
• Able to meet physical demands of paving-site work outdoors in varying weather.
• Current CSTS and WHMIS certification.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Available to work night shifts and weekends.
• Basic equipment inspections and preventative maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate rollers to compact asphalt and aggregate to required density standards.
• Perform pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance needs.
• Monitor surface conditions and adjust rolling patterns for quality compaction.
• Work closely with paving crews to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Follow site safety procedures and document daily equipment and work activities.
