Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience rolling hot mix asphalt with large and small rollers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multiple roller passes over asphalt for compaction.
• Complete and document daily pre-trip equipment inspections.
• Collaborate with paving crews for alignment and compaction.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment.
• Adjust roller settings for desired compaction levels.
• Monitor asphalt temperature and moisture for compaction efficiency.
• Work with other operators and laborers to meet project deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Follow company policies for quality standards.
