Job summary

GFL is hiring Roll-Off Drivers in Markham, Ontario to operate roll-off trucks and manage open-top containers for commercial, industrial, and construction customers. You will transport waste to disposal or recycling facilities while upholding safety, service, and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver and pick up open-top containers (10-40 yard)
• Transport waste and recycling material to designated transfer or disposal facilities
• Perform container placements in construction, commercial, and industrial environments
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
• Navigate tight sites and position containers accurately and safely
• Communicate hazards, site issues, or equipment concerns to Operations
• Maintain clean vehicle and work areas during container service
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and driving regulations
• Provide professional customer interaction during service
