Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a full-time driver to safely operate side loader or recycling trucks and related equipment. The role includes performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

You will handle waste per procedures and support route optimization while communicating with supervisors. Applicants should have a High school diploma or GED, a valid Class 3 license, and at least one year of commercial driving

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• License: Valid Class 3 driver's license.
• Experience: Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or completion of a recognized CDL training program.
• Physical Ability: Must meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering in tight spaces.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
• Frequent exposure to noise, odors, and moving vehicles
• Occasional exposure to hazardous conditions with proper protective equipment provided
