Job summary

Sureway Construction Group Ltd. in Alberta is seeking a Rock Truck Operator for Drayton Valley and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, seasonal role with 10+ hour days, six days a week and overtime after 8 hours/day or 44 hours/week.

Candidates should have a Personal Reliable Vehicle, CSA-approved boots, and at least one year of rock truck experience. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work in congested areas on a physically demanding site.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum one (1) year experience operating a rock truck.
• Good analytical ability and manual dexterity.
• Must have proven ability to work in congested areas.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of rock truck in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Essential Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Pre-employment

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
