Job summary

Sureway Construction Group Ltd. is seeking a Washbay Labourer for Edmonton and surrounding area. This full-time, permanent role involves washing heavy equipment, parts and support vehicles, and maintaining wash bays and shop cleanliness.

You must be hard-working, reliable and flexible with schedule, with a vehicle to travel to sites. The job requires working in physically demanding conditions and following safety rules and company orientation.

Responsibilities

• Washing various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the washbay with high pressure hose.
• Ensure proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands, bays, and equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure the wash bay is clean and organized.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in shop including wiping down surfaces, washing floors, etc.

Schedule

8 Hours/day, Monday through Friday, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location

Edmonton and Surrounding Area's (non-camp position, required to live in the area)

Requirements

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6\" ankle support

Pre-employment

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Washbay Labourer / Trucking Shop Labourer Responsibilities

• Washing various pieces of heavy equipment, parts, and support vehicles in the washbay with high pressure hose.
• Ensure proper treatment and maintenance of wash wands, bays, and equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure the wash bay is clean and organized.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in shop including wiping down surfaces, washing floors...etc.
• Load and unload supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
