Job summary

Kieswetter Excavating Inc. is seeking Full Time Skilled Operators to join our outdoor excavation and site servicing teams. You will work on projects across Waterloo Region and Southern Ontario, with regular overtime and weekend availability.

The role requires physical strength, a valid Driver's License, and the ability to read grades and trenching plans. We value reliability, safety, and the willingness to grow within a family-owned, fourth-generation company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel to Waterloo Region.
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing or outdoor environment.
• Knowledge of grades, levels and trenching.
• Previous construction experience.
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains the equipment daily.
• Complies with Company Safety Program.
• Organization of project details, locates, performance objectives.
• Communication of any discrepancy.
• Ability to plan ahead.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.

Work Location: Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.
