Job summary

Kieswetter Excavating Inc. is seeking a reliable dump truck operator to join our team in Waterloo Region and Southern Ontario.

You will deliver and collect materials and tools from various locations, navigate tight settings and loading zones, and maintain a safe driving record according to our safety program. We require a valid DZ license, ability to travel to Waterloo Region, and willingness to work overtime and long shifts (1014 hours).

Qualifications

• Must have valid DZ drivers license and clean CVOR.
• Ability to drive in tight settings and loading zones.
• Ability to communicate and take direction.
• Willingness to work overtime and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect materials, aggregates and tools from various locations.
• Ability to drive in tight settings, public areas and loading zones.
• Maintain a safe driving record and CVOR abstract.
• Perform float moves, secure loads and unload safely.
• Maintain safe operating procedures for loading/unloading.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle and trailers.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel to Waterloo Region.
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
• Valid DZ Drivers License.
• Ability to communicate and take direction.
• Previous experience driving dump trucks.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.
• Physical demands of sitting for long periods of time.

• Monday to Friday.

Work Location

Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario
