Job summary

4AG Robotics seeks a Mechatronics Control Systems Co-op Student for Winter 2027. You will develop C++ code for robotic systems, work with perception and control algorithms, and test on real robots in lab and farm environments.

You will use Git and Docker in Linux, participate in stand-ups, and help with PLC programming using Structured Text while gaining hands-on robotics experience at a growing startup.

Qualifications

• Pursuing mechatronics/electrical/computer science/software engineering.
• Experience with C++; knowledge of PLC Structured Text is a bonus.
• Interest in robotics, automation, controls, and hands-on engineering.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining C++ code for robotic/data systems.
• Collaborating on algorithm development for perception and control.
• Writing unit tests and performing code reviews for quality.
