Job summary

Rockwell Automation is hiring a Technical Account Executive to join the Clearpath Robotics by Rockwell Automation team in Waterloo, ON. You will handle business development, direct technical sales and account management, reporting to the Sales Manager, with on-site work and travel to client sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, up to 25% travel (including international), and experience in CRM like Salesforce.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel.
Experience in business development, direct technical sales and account management.

Responsibilities

Review client projects and applications, and help with scoping and configuration of robotic solutions.
Explain or demonstrate product features and software to gain customer acceptance.
Submit orders with technical support and cost engineering changes.
Deliver company, product and technical presentations to customers.
Provide pre-sales quotes and verify PO accuracy against quotes.
Assist customers with technical queries and research when needed.
Execute outreach campaigns and secure new business.
Promote Clearpath as a full-service robotic solutions provider.
Maintain knowledge of new technology and offerings.
Contribute to sales engineering by identifying short- and long-term issues.
