Fraser Health's Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre in Abbotsford, B.C. is hiring a Casual Registered Nurse, MICY to join the Maternal - Infant - Child & Youth (MICY), Diabetes & Pregnancy Clinic team.

The RN provides direct patient care in outpatient and home settings, conducts assessments, plans and evaluates care, teaches patients and families, and collaborates with an inter-professional care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Two years of recent related clinical experience in the designated area or equivalent.
• Post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.
