Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse (RN), Pediatrics, to support pediatric inpatient care at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre in Abbotsford, BC. The role emphasizes direct patient care within a collaborative inter-professional team and a child-centered approach.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current practicing registration as a RN with BCCNM.
• One year of recent, related clinical nursing experience in pediatrics or related area.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts comprehensive pediatric nursing assessments on admission and regularly thereafter.
• Collaborates with families, physicians and care team to develop and modify the care plan.
• Coordinates care, prioritizes tasks, and delegates to support staff as needed.
• Teaches patients and families about health maintenance and self-care.
• Documents assessments and care plans according to Fraser Health procedures.
• Participates in quality improvement and risk management activities.
