Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for an ER assignment in Canada. The four-week contract may extend if needed, with the RN floating between the ED and medical unit to care for patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in emergency care, current BLS, ACLS, and CTAS certifications, and will provide clinical leadership in dynamic clinical settings. Accommodations and a rental vehicle are provided to support the assignment.

Description:Seeking an RN with recent emergency department experience to fill staffing needs.The assignment will involve floating between the emergency department and medical unit.The desired contract length is 4 weeks with the potential for extension.We serve patients of all ages in our emergency department.The emergency department has a core staffing complement of 3 RNs and 1 LPN per shift.There is a recent addition of a CCA to assist in the care of admitted patients.The medical unit has different core staffing requirements for day and night shifts.Point of care lab testing experience is considered an asset.Accommodations and rental vehicle arrangements will be provided.The Specialty RN will coordinate and direct nursing care for patients requiring complex care.The Specialty RN provides clinical leadership in unpredictable patient care settings.Knowledge, skill, and judgment are essential for competent, evidence-based nursing practice.As part of a collaborative care team, the Specialty RN will coordinate care to achieve patient outcomes.Contributing to the efficient functioning of the service/unit is expected.The Specialty RN will comply with documentation processes.
