Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in Long Term Care
• Minimum of 3 years in managerial or supervisory capacity in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of clinical professionals to build relationships with residents and families
• Ensure nursing care is delivered according to individual plans of care
• Lead, implement and monitor key clinical programs (falls prevention, skin and wound care, continence care, pain management)
• Coordinate and monitor performance metrics of care processes (RAI MDS Program, Nursing Rehab, Restorative Care)
• Collaborate with Clinical Partners on infection control and monitor activities in the Care Community
• Comply with company policies and provincial regulations; participate in committees
• Support hiring, training and coaching of nursing staff
