Job summary

Evertz Microsystems is seeking a detail-oriented customer returns specialist to join our Burlington, Ontario team in an in-office role. You will manage RMAs, coordinate warranty replacements and ship repair units, and prepare replacement quotes for customers, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration with Production, Logistics, Sales, Administration, and Technical Support.

Responsibilities

• Process RMAs for customer hardware returns.
• Coordinate warranty replacements and repair shipments.
• Prepare replacement quotes for customers.
• Communicate with customers regarding returns, status updates and payments.
• Serve as the go-to contact for customer return requests.
• Maintain accurate records to keep the team running smoothly.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Sales, Administration, and Technical Support.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team in a key support role. This position is responsible for managing customer return requests initiated by the Service team, ensuring merchandise is returned to Evertz in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves close collaboration with internal departments—including Production, Logistics, Sales, Administration, and Technical Support—to facilitate warranty replacements, coordinate repair unit shipments, and prepare replacement quotes for customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Support general administrative tasks and maintain accurate records that keep the team running smoothly
• Evaluation of customer needs and solutions
• Issue and process Return Merchandise Authorization numbers (RMAs) for customer hardware returns
• Correspond with customers regarding returns, status updates and payments
• Act as the go-to contact for customer return requests
• Prepare replacement quotes and manage the warranty replacement process end-to-end
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in related field (Business, Administration) or related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Some customer service experience if preferred
