Job Description: Position Overview

Reporting to the Director, Privacy and Risk Management, the successful candidate will be an independent, proactive team player with strong organizational, investigative, and problem-solving skills. The role involves managing confidential information and exercising sound judgment.

Responsibilities
  • HIROC Insurance: Complete and update annual insurance for all SHN sites; develop processes for obtaining certificates of insurance; prepare reports.
  • Legal Affairs: File claims with insurers; liaise with departments; collaborate with leadership and legal counsel; prepare reports; develop standard work for legal processes; monitor KPIs.
  • Product Recalls: Develop recall processes; review and manage recalls; develop metrics; support ERM and LCM processes; prepare reports; collaborate with leadership to develop reports for SLT and Board; develop standard work.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
  • CRM Certification required
  • Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent experience is an asset
  • At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, with legislative compliance, enterprise risk management, medico-legal processes, and change management
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing sensitive information
  • Strong organization and time management skills
