Job summary

All Service Drilling in Prince George, BC seeks three Rig Mechanics (NOC 72400) to join a growing team. Wages start at $47.00 per hour, with experience-based increases and occasional overtime.

Candidates should have a Related Trade Certificate and 3–5 years of related experience, and will work at our fixed office and various rig locations. Work is full-time and permanent with benefits enrollment possible; pre-employment drug testing is required.

Qualifications

• Related Trade Certificate required for the role.
• 3–5 years of related experience is preferred.
• Pre-employment drug test is required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary machinery using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting devices to position machinery during installation and repair.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic drill rigs, electrical systems and diesel engines.
• Service and repair light duty vehicles including trucks and telehandlers.
• Inspect machinery to detect irregularities and malfunctions and replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts for overhaul or maintenance.
