Job summary

Norsat International Inc. is seeking an engineer to provide hands-on support to manufacturing operations, helping ensure smooth production of RF products and rapid resolution of technical challenges.

You will work closely with production teams to scale new designs and maintain accurate documentation. The role emphasizes problem-solving across electrical assemblies, ECO processing, and quality improvements, with relocation to the on-site facility.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with RF testing or high-frequency systems is preferred.
• Exposure to MRP systems, ECO processes and ISO manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to production lines.
• Assist with scaling new product designs into manufacturing environments.
• Review and maintain production documentation for accuracy.
• Perform first article inspections and validate component quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering to process ECOs and design revisions.
• Troubleshoot failures involving electrical components and assemblies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to quality and efficiency.
