Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Ottawa is offering a 12-month RF Application Engineer Co-Op starting January 2027. The successful student will report to a senior Application Engineering member and apply engineering skills to WiFi/IoT device evaluation and board tuning.

The role includes assisting with customer support, test activities for ICs and modules, and lab testing of RF circuits with dissemination of test results.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering degree.
• Knowledge of basic electronic circuits.
• Proficient with MS Office and willing to learn company software.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; hands-on lab work.
• Eligible for a university co-op program.

Responsibilities

• Assist application engineering group members with their customer support activities.
• Assist in the new integrated circuit and module product test activities.
• Lab testing of RF circuits, presentation of test results, and participation in customer SCH/Layout reviews.
• Completion of small projects and task assignments of various degrees of complexity.
