Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a motivated Test Engineering Co-op student to support development, validation, and deployment of automated test solutions for RF and wireless semiconductor products.

You will gain hands-on experience with ATE, RF measurements, data analysis, and product qualification in a fast-paced engineering environment. The student will collaborate with Test, Product, Systems, and Applications Engineering teams on NPI activities and manufacturing test solutions.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Physics.
Strong fundamentals in electronics and RF concepts.
Proficient in Python, C#, C++, or LabVIEW.
Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and NI gear.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and debugging Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programs and hardware.
Support RF test development using COhu Red Dragon, Advantest and NI platforms.
Execute characterization and validation tests to meet specs.
Analyze test data and generate reports to identify trends and improve coverage.
Assist multisite test development and drive efficiency improvements.
Support NPI transfers from development to manufacturing.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot test issues and implement fixes.
Develop automation tools and scripts to boost productivity and data analysis.
Maintain test documentation, procedures, and engineering records.
