About the role:

The Trainer will be responsible for the facilitation of engaging learning experiences through online and face-to-face training sessions. With direction from the Manager, Learning and Development, the trainer will be responsible for providing the Field Team with stellar sales skills training leveraging a mix of sales methodologies and processes.

Location: Greater Montreal Area

What you’re responsible for:

  • Delivering key aspects of the new employee onboarding program (online and in-person)
  • Creating, executing, and maintaining the Training Program
  • Demonstrating compliance and training excellence through updates and regular reporting
  • Working with Regional Managers to ensure training and development is thriving in situ and providing feedback and coaching to employees
  • Collaborating with the Regional Managers in your area to support regional training assessment, determining needs, and new employee performance execution
  • Consulting and collaborating with HQ partners on large-scale training initiatives
  • Developing training strategies that maximize engagement, retention, and adoption
  • Incorporating change management methodologies into training strategies
  • Supporting and/or leading the training content creation and delivery process
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure training is integrated into the relevant training programs
  • Delivering training and train-the-trainers for initiative, program, product education, and cyclical training as needed
  • Occasionally traveling with employees within your area for ongoing training and coaching
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of role overview documents for all field roles
  • Evaluating and reporting on training strengths and opportunities in your region
  • Supporting in the planning and execution of training strategies
  • Being an ambassador for our brand, setting an example of training excellence for our staff
  • Providing ongoing feedback and insight to maximize retail training impact, platforms, and resources

To be successful:

  • Excellent knowledge of training methods as well as organizational change management expertise
  • Excellent knowledge of Sales Processes and Skills
  • Experience in the consumer subscription services industry is an asset (Door to Door sales an asset)
  • Experience in facilitating groups online using engagement tools (polling, gamification)
  • Strong working proficiency in Webex, MS Teams, and other online training vehicles
  • Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Experience with video creation considered an asset

To join our team:

  • Ability to capture an audience and inspire change (Bilingual an asset)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
  • 2+ years’ experience working in training delivery, teaching, coaching, and/or facilitation experience
  • Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities
  • Superior organizational and planning skills are required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English (Bilingual is an asset)
  • Strong capacity for adaptability and creativity
  • Infectious growth mindset and collaborative excellence on short timeframes
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
