BC Liquor Distribution Branch in Nelson, BC is seeking a Supervisor to assist in managing a major retail operation with annual sales exceeding $9 million. You will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and help maintain strong teamwork and morale.

The role may involve stock control, security, training, scheduling, and labour relations matters. A criminal record check is required, and Serving It Right certification is needed before appointment.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Minimum six (6) months of recent experience in a supervisory role in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Experience fostering a customer-centric selling culture and driving sales.
• Experience with store visual presentation.
• Experience hiring, training and coaching employees.
• Experience managing a team of multiple employees per shift.

Responsabilités

• Supervise staff and maintain good staff morale.
• Contribute to improving the Branch image and policy adherence.
• Assist in stock control and security of staff and physical assets.
• Training staff, scheduling assignments, and participating in store duties.
• May be involved in labour relations matters.
