Job summary

Freson Bros. in Alberta is seeking a capable supervisor for our retail/food service operations. You will oversee staff, assign duties, hire and train, and handle ordering, cash, and inventory. You’ll also ensure quality service, resolve customer issues, and maintain reports on sales and staffing.

The role requires 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, a college-level certificate or diploma, and fluency in English to coordinate with team members and customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum college-level certificate or diploma in retail/food service or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role.
  • English language required for communication with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff and assign duties across shifts.
  • Hire, train, and onboard new staff.
  • Manage merchandise ordering and returns.
  • Set work schedules and monitor performance.
  • Sell merchandise and prepare sales/merchandising reports.
  • Address customer requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain inventory and supervise kitchen/food service staff as needed.
  • Manage cash and ensure quality control in service.
