Retail Store Supervisor

Location: 4620 Lakelse Avenue, Terrace, BC V8G 1R1

Salary: $34.65 per hour, 32 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Vacancies: 2

Start date: As soon as possible

Work conditions: On-site, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking

Responsibilities

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train staff or arrange training
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order and authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3-4 workers

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience
• Languages: English
• Personal qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexible, organized, reliable, team player
