Job summary

RA WALIA INC is seeking a capable supervisor to lead the sales and design staff at our Kingston location. You will oversee daily operations, assign duties, manage inventory, and ensure a high standard of customer service. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of supervisory experience, a college/CEGEP diploma, and strong communication skills for team coordination and client interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Order merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
