Job summary

Savard Group is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple sites in the Concord region, with 90% travel between locations. You will lead equipment operators, scale attendants, and yard staff while coordinating with sales, dispatch and logistics teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in operations management, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of construction materials and safety regulations in Ontario.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations, yard, pit, or site management experience.
• Experience in construction, aggregates, materials supply, waste management, or a related industry.
• Proven experience supervising front-line operational staff.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, yard/pit operations, or logistics.
• Working knowledge of Ontario health and safety regulations.
• Heavy equipment experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient material flow, loading, unloading, weighing, and dispatch processes.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and operational performance.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple locations supporting the construction industry. This role will provide leadership to equipment operators, scale attendants, and yard/pit personnel while coordinating with sales, dispatch, and logistics teams. The position is based out of Concord, with approximately 90% of the day spent travelling between sites.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Approximately 90% travel between sites.
• Primarily outdoor work in yards, pits, transfer stations, and customer locations.
• Exposure to construction materials, heavy equipment, dust, noise, mud, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to climb on and off heavy equipment as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
• PPE required at all times.
• Extended hours may occasionally be required based on operational demands.

Monday to Friday
7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Flexibility required based on operational needs.

Compensation

• $95,000-115,000 annually
