Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Ottawa to support day-to-day terminal operations and ensure efficient execution. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work with the local Terminal Manager to maintain service standards and operational profitability, and act as the terminal's point of contact in their absence.

Responsibilities include scheduling pickups and deliveries for owned assets, coordinating equipment and driver availability, supervising drivers and dock

Qualifications

• Class 1/AZ or Class 5/DZ license preferred.
• Ability to travel to different geographic locations.

• Computer literacy with descriptive reporting skills.
• Knowledge of the freight industry, equipment, and driver work environments.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor in Ottawa. This role is crucial for providing operations support at the local terminal level and ensuring our day-to-day functions are executed efficiently and effectively.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Operations Supervisor will work directly with the local Terminal Manager. This position is vital for maintaining service standards and operational profitability. You will also serve as the main point of contact for the terminal during the Terminal Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities
