Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada), Inc invites an enthusiastic Store Manager to lead our brand-new Lindt store at The Boardwalk in Kitchener. You will drive sales, manage daily operations and mentor a team of Retail Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service.

The role requires strong communication in English and French, retail management experience, and a passion for premium chocolate. We offer a competitive CAD salary range of 56K–70K plus a 15% bonus and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education preferred.

• 2-5 years of retail management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities (French and English).
• Previous experience in a merchandising or presentation capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
• Drive corporate and retail sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service standards through modelling of behaviour and guidelines.
• Monitor sales and labour to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service.
• Recruit, interview and hire Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise staff to maximize customer service, sales and profit.
• Train sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Order merchandise timely and focus on inventory management and loss prevention.
• Reconcile cash with sales receipts and handle store administration.
• Develop knowledge of all products and sales information to achieve sales goals while controlling expenses.
• Performance manage staff and deliver employee reviews.
• Maintain merchandising presentation to company standards.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety.
• Cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail duties.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and results-driven individual to join our team as the Store Manager of our brand-new Lindt store at The Boardwalk in Kitchener. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique
• Responsible for generating and driving corporate sales
• Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelines
• Monitor sales and labour issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximize store profitability without sacrificing customer service
• Recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Retail Sales Associates
• Supervision of store employees to maximize customer service, sales and profit
• Training of sales techniques and product knowledge
• Timely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention
• Daily reconciling of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork and accounting, payroll and other store administration
• Develop and utilize full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses
• On-going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation and delivery of employee performance reviews
• Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety
• Cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail administrative duties

Qualifications

Rewards Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $56K-$70K CAD per annum with a 15% performance-based bonus. The final agreement upon salary may vary based on market location and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
