You’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a retail store manager to join our team. Your passion for creating amazing customer and employee experiences, leading teams, and achieving sales results will enable you to make a positive impact on our customers, employees, and communities.

Join us and grow your career as a retail store manager (general manager), which we call a store leader at Best Buy in one of our Calgary market locations.

What you’ll do:

1. Oversee all aspects of our store, including leading a team of assistant store leaders, team leads, and advisors, and partnering with all areas of the business and vendors.
2. Motivate, coach, develop, and inspire your team to help customers find the perfect product or service.
3. Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun!
4. Oversee store KPIs (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health and safety).
5. Maintain a healthy profit and loss statement.

What we’re looking for:

1. 5+ years of experience as a retail store manager with a retail team of at least 65 associates and a store volume of $10+ million.
2. 5+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue.
3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store.
4. Ability to create an inclusive, fun, and safe work environment.
5. The first store(s) you will be placed in are Deerfoot Meadows or Sunridge.
6. Ability to be permanently placed at any of our Calgary store locations (e.g., Calgary 17th Avenue, Deerfoot Meadows, Northland, Shawnessy, Sunridge, Westhills Calgary) and commute to those locations is required.
