Role Overview

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

Summary: To assist the Front Store Manager (FSM) in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the store, focusing on improving product flow from the backroom to the sales floor to achieve store objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
Operations
  • Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience, drive traffic, and impact profitability.
  • Collaborate with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are consistently met, including in the backroom.
  • Assist in managing labor scheduling with the FSM, leveraging Workforce Management (WFM) tools to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure staffing levels are adequate for effective store operation.
Human Resources
  • Comply with Human Resources Standards.
  • Assist with hiring processes alongside the FSM, supporting hiring across all departments except Pharmacy.
  • Maintain wage administration within company guidelines.
  • Promote Blue Culture, engagement, and motivate staff through core values.
Qualifications
  • Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and expense control.
  • Effective leadership, mentorship, and staff development abilities.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Ability to prioritize quickly in response to changing initiatives.
Experience
  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Ability to drive business and support corporate programs by example.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
