The Retail Store Manager oversees daily operations and profitability, including staff management, customer satisfaction, product presentation, inventory control, and promotional activities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greet and assist customers professionally, exemplifying exemplary conduct.
2. Address customer complaints effectively to ensure positive resolutions.
3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
4. Manage inventory efficiently, including regular stock taking and reporting.
5. Drive sales, expand markets, and promote the business within guidelines.
6. Verify invoices, track expenditures, and manage financial transactions.
7. Maintain neat merchandise presentation and accurate pricing.
8. Make informed purchasing decisions with volume discounts.
9. Provide sales and staff productivity reports to management.
10. Hold staff accountable for cash handling and balance daily sales.
11. Deposit cash daily and reconcile bank statements.
12. Coordinate cannabis and accessories ordering and receiving.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid QCW/Sell Safe certification for Alberta cannabis retail.
• High school diploma; post-secondary training preferred.
• At least 5 years supervisory experience in retail.

• Strong time management, staff training, and motivation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software.
