Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts is seeking a Retail Store Manager for our Banff location. You will oversee day-to-day operations, emphasizing customer experience and authentic service while driving revenue, engagement, and team performance to reach peak store potential.

This permanent full-time role requires leading by example, growing the local customer base, resolving customer concerns, and coaching a team aligned with our values and sustainability goals.

The position

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of their store, ensuring that the customer and employee experience is engaging and authentic. Their role includes identifying and executing initiatives to grow revenue, customer engagement, and employee performance so their location performs to its maximum potential. The store, the team and the experiences within reflect the culture and values of Rocky, always.

This is a permanent full‑time position working 40 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing

• Consistently leading by example: demonstrating personal customer service and selling skills aligned with Rocky’s service standards and expectations.
• Ensuring the growth and development of a local customer base by engaging with the community, sourcing opportunities to further build brand awareness and generally finding ways to share the good word about Rocky.
• Addressing customer concerns and complaints readily and with intent to exceed what’s expected.
• Leading and motivating the store team and consistently setting the example of demonstration and living by the Rocky’s core values.
• Coaching, guiding and genuinely connecting with the team, providing consistent and thoughtful feedback.
• Ensuring overall accuracy of inventory in‑store as well as ensuring all inventory management processes are completed.
• Reporting quality issues in a timely manner and ensuring all products on the sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation.
• Ensuring profitability of the store location through management of all controllable aspects.
• Leading the store in all sustainability efforts and initiatives.
• Actively leading and coaching all team members to drive revenue and performance metrics.
