Job summary

True North Seafood, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., is expanding its Seafood Counter Team in Dartmouth, NS. The Retail Store Coordinator will oversee storefront operations, lead a team, and drive both in-store and online sales with a customer-first mindset.

You will manage merchandising, pricing, promotions, and online orders while ensuring health, safety and food-handling standards are met. This is a full-time, year-round role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post secondary education in business retail management or related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the food seafood industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily storefront operations, ensuring it is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked.
• Lead the retail associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and drive sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the distribution centre to replenish stock as needed.
• Manage the online store, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of online orders, coordinating with the distribution centre for fulfillment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle escalated issues promptly.
• Track and analyze sales data and prepare regular management reports.
