Job summary

Allied Universal is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Guards at CF Sherway Gardens in Toronto. We seek professional, reliable guards who provide customer-focused security in a high-profile retail environment.

The role includes patrolling, access control, incident response and clear reporting, with a continental rotation schedule. Ontario Security Guard Licence, Class G Driver's Licence and First Aid/CPR are required; shifts include days and nights over two-week blocks and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of security experience in retail or customer-service environment.
• Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance eligibility.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor assigned areas.
• Monitor and respond to security and safety concerns.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures.
• Prepare and complete detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Provide professional customer service to visitors, tenants and employees.
• Observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Follow all site-specific procedures, post orders and policies.
• Work closely with site management and emergency services when required.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
